About the role

With our future opportunities, we are seeking to appoint an experienced Contract Engineer to join our team based in Auckland. We have some exciting projects on the go and we would like you to be part of our great team.

 

Your role will be to assist in managing all aspects of the maintenance and construction projects, reporting directly to the Project Manager.  You will aid in the planning and delivery of projects within the contract requirements, optimise resource use and achieve target results to the client’s satisfaction, on time and within budget, championing a Zero Harm work culture. You will ensure stakeholder relationships are enhanced and built within area and surrounding stakeholders.

About you

 

To be successful within this role we are looking for a team player who will bring with them the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in Site and / or Project Engineer roles for 3 – 5 years
  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification
  • Strong planning and project management skills
  • Experienced in project financial management and reporting
  • Current Full Drivers’ License
  • Ability to work across geographical boundaries
  • Preferably hold a tertiary qualification in engineering or working towards one
  • Experience within Maintenance Contracts advantageous
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with all team members
