Job Description

Our client is looking for a Procurement Manager to join their team in Wellington. This role will be part of the Construction Business Unit, reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager.


Youll play a leading and influential role in the procurement activities for our large-scale retirement village developments throughout New Zealand. Youll be leading the planning and management of complex end to end procurement strategies for our new village developments, managing your own category portfolio, researching and championing opportunities for innovation and seeking to add value and deliver benefit throughout the supply chain.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Experience enables job holder to deal with the majority of situations and to advise others (Over 3 years to 6 years)
  • Experience in construction industry
  • Fully Qualified Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS) or Post Graduate Degree in relevant discipline e.g. Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Law or related field
  • Experience of general supervision of more junior colleagues (7 to 12 months) – desirable
  • PRINCE2 - desirable
