Senior Data Scientist - Expressions of Interest

Are you passionate about leveraging data to drive impactful decisions? Were seeking a talented Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team and lead the charge in transforming complex datasets into actionable insights.

To be considered you will need:

Develop and implement machine learning models for analysing 15-minute time series data in electricity, water, and natural gas consumption.
Manage daily ingestion and processing of 2.5 million data points for operational efficiency.
Utilize advanced forecasting techniques to anticipate trends and make informed decisions.
Analyse monthly and qualitative data to identify emerging patterns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning capabilities into our software platform.
Continuously optimize algorithms for scalability, efficiency, and accuracy.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in machine learning and AI technologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field; master’s or Ph.D. preferred.
Proven track record as a Machine Learning Engineer or Data Scientist.
Proficiency in Python, R, or similar languages, with expertise in frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
Strong aptitude for working with large datasets and time series data, including forecasting techniques and statistical models.
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and communicate technical concepts effectively.
Preferred: Experience in carbon accounting or sustainability-related data analysis, familiarity with cloud platforms, and previous energy or utilities industry experience.
