Your technical skills will include VHDL and FPGA(Xilinx Virtex II, Spartan 3, Virtex II Pro, Virtex4 & 5 etc). Your embedded development experience should include familiarity with the following tools:
Synplicity Synplify
Xilinx Foundation
Mentor Graphics ModelSim
Aldec ActiveHDL Simultor
Xilinx ChipScope
A relevant tertiary qualification and expertise in the majority of the following is required:
Networking and Communications
Ethernet 10/100/1000/10000
IP, UDP, TCP, ARP
PCI, PCI-X, PCI-Express
Unix environments (BSD, Linux)
CygWn
C/C++ and scripting (Shell, perl, python)
