Endace Technologies are developing a new range of network appliances and now have an opportunity for a talented network software engineer to participate in these projects.
Endace’s network traffic monitoring solutions have a reputation for excellence second-to-none. Their products are deployed globally and operate across a wide range of network links and speeds, capturing 100% of data, removing data-path restrictions, measuring latency and increasing network performance and security.
Typically operating at gigabit speeds and above, their solutions are deployed in some of the fastest and most complex network environments in the world, run by some the world’s largest and most successful blue-chip companies, financial institutions, telecommunications operators and government agencies.
You will be an accomplished network software developer with most of the following skills already in your toolkit:
C/C++ in a Unix/Linux environment
OSS Tools (autoconf, automake, CVS, GCC, GDB, Gprof and Make)
POSIX API
C Standard Library
IP based networking protocols
A degree in Computer Science, Electronics or equivalent will be highly regarded.
Strong English communications skills (oral and written) are a must have!
To be successful in this role, you are likely to be an experienced commercial developer - or maybe you are an exceptional graduate with a 4 year or better degree?
