Position: Engineering, Gas Engineer
To complete as directed, the construction of new industrial, commercial and residential gas service connections operating at pressures up to 400kPa (4bar).
Also, to complete as directed, the construction of new gas main pipelines and extensions of existing pipelines on the gas network.

Tasks
Efficiently and effectively complete all allocated work related to the construction of gas distribution systems operating at pressures up to 400kPa (4bar).
Successfully complete directed training programmes to continually update skills.
Maintain effective relationships with Siemens Energy Services and Vector gas staff, customers and suppliers.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policy, New Zealand standards, legal and regulatory requirements.
Education
Current industry recognised skills such as NZQA Level 3 or an appropriate City and Guilds of London Institute qualification.
Must hold current drivers and HT Licences.
Knowledge/Languages
An intermediate level of English - both verbal and understanding of written, is required.
Capabilities
You must have the ability and willingness to learn, along with a strong customer service and results orientation.
