Grader Operator

Grader Operator is on the Green List of New Zealand

 

Duties include:

  • Operating graders with final trim operations and other heavy plant machinery in a safe and effective manner.
  • Preparation, positioning and general care & maintenance of plant for operation.
  • Complying with all WHS safety practices and procedures.
  • Demonstrating commitment to environmental policies and procedures

 

Your Qualifications & Experience: 

 

  • You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience operating graders with final trim experience. Other heavy machinery experience is favourable.
  • You hold a current RII ticket or equivalent or willingness to obtain.
  • You hold a valid, open Australian Driver’s Licence and General Construction Induction Card.
  • Experience in civil construction, infrastructure, drainage, bulk earthworks, cut to fill and agriculture would be favourable.
  • Hold or willingness to obtain Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations (or equivalent) is highly regarded, but not essential.
  • You have demonstrated experience and general knowledge of the construction industry, civil engineering and environmental principles and relevant legislation/standards.
  • Experience with DIDO/FIFO rosters.
